'Tis the Season

Am I the only one who is shaking my head, saying “how is it December already?” Honestly, in the words of my high school Latin teacher, Tempus Fugit.

With two kids grown and flown, life has definitely slowed down in many ways, but in other ways, the pace of things feels kicked up.  Maybe it’s because I have the incredible luxury of thinking of myself on a daily basis, at least for a few minutes, and I am ambitious, restless and ready to get a lot done. Until I am not. And then I am ready to hunker down with tea or wine and a stack of books (more on that below).
